MERMAID’S STONE

Vidvuds is a young sculptor spends his summer on a wild beach, where he’s working on memorial token to his wife who drowned nearby last summer.

Unexpectedly comes a fateful meeting with Linka, a young woman, who spends the summer with her four year’s old son at her grandparent’s. She wants to stay out and away from the city, because of her husband’s deceit. Vidvuds and Linka are about to embark on an uneasy emotional journey to overcome their past and move on to the future.

The story takes place on the part of the Baltic Sea coast, where the ancient culture and language of the Livs (Livonians) has survived.
